Adam + Christine|Lee's Summit Engagement Photographer

Another cute couple, another fall wedding. I'm so excited for the three weddings that I have this fall. They will be a nice change from all the family sessions that I am doing in September and October! While I was picking out these photos to put on here I was thinking back to the day we shot their engagement session--hottest day of the summer, I was 9 months pregnant waddling around, Christine and Adam were both wearing jeans (you know what it feels like to wear jeans when you're sweating super bad), and then to make matters worse for Adam, his outfit change was long-sleeves! I also had just shot Micah & Trinity's engagement session in downtown Lee's Summit a few nights before, and I was worried that these shots would end up looking the same..somehow we managed to use only one of the same locations! (You can see their session HERE).  Needless to say, we kept things short and finished in record time. And I ended up loving almost every shot I took- worth the terrible heat :) Can't wait for your October wedding, guys (and that cool fall weather) ! A few favorites...

Kristen|Lee's Summit High School Senior Photographer

This is my lovely cousin, Kristen.  I can't believe that she is a high school Senior!! She is the youngest of the cousins on my mom's side, so it's sort of surreal to think that we're all grown up now!  We're going to do another session in the fall when the leaves are changing, but here are a few favorites from this session!

Trinity & Micah Engaged|Lee's Summit Engagement Photographer

Funny story: Trinity found me online and liked my work so she contacted me about doing her November wedding...me being the facebook stalker that I am, looked her up and saw that we had some mutual friends..one of which being my uncle David who grew up in the super small town of Hume. It turns out that Trinity and David went to school together, along with some other cousins of mine. I mean how crazy is that that she randomly found me and she just happens to be from the very small town that my grandparents live in! I was a little nervous at first to say Yes to her because she herself is a photographer and for some reason that always seems a little nerve-wracking, but I'm SO glad that I did because at our E-session we hit it off right from the start! Shooting her and Micah was actually easier because she knew how to pose and how she wanted the photos to turn out. She brought lots of props and we used as many as we could before the sun went down. The first photo here was her idea that they are using for their wedding invitations...do you get it? Tying the Knot :) Trinity and Micah, it was a pleasure meeting you and I can't wait for your wedding in November!! Here are a few favorites, even though it was hard to narrow it down!
