Emerson's first Christmas..4 months old

Emerson is my cousin's daughter...making her my second cousin I guess! Growing up, Cindy (Emmy's mom), my sister Laurie and I always played like we were moms, with our dolls or barbies, or even eachother (Laurie was the baby :) It's so strange how quickly time passes and now we all ARE moms! Here are a few of Emerson at 4 months, and some family Christmas pictures.

Christmas Cuties!

Anyone else bummed out by this dark, damp, cold weather?!  I can't WAIT for Spring, or at least some sunshine! This bad weather has meant no business, but this weekend I'm shooting engagement pictures for Jenni & Matt (whose wedding I'll be doing in May), so I'm just counting the days down until this shoot(only 2 1/2 more now!). But in the mean time I should use all this free time to update the blog! In December I ran a special for "Photos by the tree", just some Christmas themed pictures for people to use in their Christmas cards etc. I had a lot of fun doing them, and it was very casual because we used my Christmas tree in our living room! Here are a few pics from the 4 families... The first is Roslyn. Ohhh she's so cute and happy! She'll change so much over this next year, these pictures will be a great reminder of "little" Roslyn :)

Next is Miss Jadyn...adorable as ever. I love her serious looks in some of these..and the way she kept trying to take her headband out (why won't little girls ever let us keep them in their hair?!). Her little outfits were so cute too, I LOVE Christmas dresses! Here she is...

And then there were Olivia and Selah, two of our very best friends!

I can't wait for July when these two sisters will be getting a new sibling!
