The Gibson Family at Loose Park

Last weekend we headed down to Loose Park to do family pictures for the Gibson's. It was Daniel & Katie's idea to get family pics as a Christmas present to Daniels parents. How thoughtful of them(hint hint to anyone looking for a good christmas gift idea!!). I could not believe how crowded Loose Park was! We literally waited in line for the "good spots". The leaves were gorgeous though, so it was well worth the wait! Here are a few shots for you to check out....

Welcome to the new blog!!

So this is my first post on the new blog! The Illuminate page is still up and you can check out past clients and posts HERE. You're probably wondering why the name change, new blog, and new facebook fan page...there really isn't a definite reason.  I guess I just feel after the past month of being in business that I'm getting a better feel of what I personally like and more of a style of my own. Plus, there are a few other "illuminate" photography businesses out there, and there are no other Amanda Eatons!(Well, I'm sure there are..but no others in the photo biz yet!). I thought I would try to pick ONE photo from each shoot so far, as a sort of "favorite"(impossible!), and just as a review of the first month. This weekend we have three more shoots (that I'm SO excited for!!!) so I'll be updating after this weekend! Hope you enjoy the new blog!

Information & Prices

Every session is going to be different, but the basic price is $175.00 for about an hour's worth of time on location in Lee's Summit, an unlimited amount of shots, creative editing will be done on photos chosen by Amanda, A Disc with 75-100 edited images for you to have printed where you like, or I will have them professionally printed for you.

If we think that the situation is going to require more time, or it's a very large group, or will take us outside of Lee's Summit, then we will talk to you about additional costs.

A little about Amanda

I've always loved photography, but when I became a mom is when it became more of a passion for me.  Capturing a moment in time is my favorite aspect of photography. Every photo that I take, I can look at it and remember what was going on at the moment. They tell a story and are so irreplaceable, it's such a joy for me to be the one behind the camera, helping preserve your memories. I love every aspect of having a small photography business, from making first contact with new families, to the actual shoot (which is always a blast), to the creative editing, and then giving you the final product. I feel so blessed to be doing what I love and at the same time blessing you with an unforgettable experience, and pictures that will last a lifetime.
