Baby Bella

I knew that taking Isabella's photos would be fun, because her parents are old friends of mine. (Old as in, I've known her dad since I was 12, and have had the pleasure of knowing her mom for many years now!). Bella is two months old now and soo tiny! It's crazy how easy we forget how little they start! I got her smiling at one point by making this weird chirping/beeping noise that my sister invented to make my son laugh when he was a baby! Works every time! By the end of our time, Bella had fallen asleep so we get some especially precious shots of her in an adorable, girly tu-tu :) I love photographing babies, they are just too cute for me not to do a good job :)

This week at iheartfaces the challenge is Smiles! That should be easy enough, right ? I just took this photo of my niece, Hailey sitting on my sister's lap. She looks so happy and I love the laid-back smile Laurie is giving her.

iheartfaces photo challenge: Collages

This week on the iheartfaces website, the theme is Collages. I love this one of my daughter, I feel like it shows a perfect scene from her cute and simple life. She is OBSESSED with my makeup, at any given time I will walk by the bathroom and see her sneaking into my makeup drawer (which yesterday resulted in a nice glob of mascara all around her eye). I finally thought, "Why not let her put some on for fun and take some snapshots while she's at it" and this is what we got :)

The beauty in the small things is always what amazes me most about my kids.
