Tim 2011 Senior|Lee's Summit Senior Photographer

The day that Tim and I were scheduled to meet up was not exactly the prettiest of days...in fact it was actually a really dreary day- no sunshine and rain all day! Thankfully it was just misting during our session, and you can't tell at all how miserable the weather was in Tim's pictures because his sweet personality shines through so bright! (Ok, I know that sounded really cheesy, but it's totally true as you can see for yourself below) :)  Tim is graduating from Blue Ridge Christian School which is where I graduated from too! It was fun to meet and talk about the school. He actually told me that he has a teacher named Mr. Eaton and found out his wife's name is Amanda, so he thought she was the one who was going to take his senior pictures...small world! Here are a few favorites!

Tim- you did an awesome job! Thanks for making my job so easy! :)

The Burton Family|Lee's Summit Family Photographer

I love how I get the opportunity to shoot so many large families...It seems that every session I do the number of children goes up! :)  The lovely Burton family has 6 children, ranging from Age 9 down to 4 months!! Amy (mom) and John (dad) are two busy parents! They were also super relaxed which made my job easy!  I absolutely love the photos of the children that I got that night- the sky was perfect and the kids were all smiles! Here are a few favorites...

And a few "bloopers" that I just had to include:)

The Kohler Family|Lee's Summit Family Photographer

I've decided to switch up the way I do things when it comes to posting photos. I usually would post favorites on facebook as I edited, but now I'm going to be making a blog post first with my favorites, then when I'm all finished editing I will put all of my favorites on facebook in an album (that way clients can be tagged if they'd like and share them with all their facebook friends!).

The next 10 weeks are going to be crazy busy for me, and I got to start the madness off with the very sweet Kohler Family! I was a little worried about my first session (since my c-section 3 weeks ago) because I knew there would be 5 kids and sometimes that can be a little hard to deal with--not with this family! The children were all very well behaved, and as you can see...Adorable!  When I told Clay & Rebecca (mom and dad) to kiss in one picture, one of the little boys said, "This is really embarassing me!", haha! So cute!  Here are some of my favorites. If they get 20+ comments they will receive a free gift!

I l.o.v.e this one :)

Rebecca & Clay said they had their 1 year anniversary photo taken on that swing- 12 years later and they look pretty cozy together still :)
