Busy.

So I'm a little behind on blogging my sessions...a little=a lot! This past month I've had 10 sessions and have one more tomorrow night, so 11 for the month of July (all the while I'm 8 months pregnant and running a little slower than usual :)! I can't believe how busy I've been but I've loved each and every session. I seriously think to myself while editing each one, "Oh this is definitely my favorite so far"...every time! I only have a few available dates left for September and October so if you're thinking about booking a session please check out this NOTE I put on my facebook fan page and then shoot me an email: mandajeaton@gmail.com

I wanted to mention that my prices will be going up effective January 1, 2011.  As of right now I can't give you a definite price but it will not be over $200 a session and will still include the disc of all the edited photos!  

Some exciting news!  I'm in the works to getting a "real" website!  This blog has been great but I am really bad at updating it and I can't wait to have a real site! I'll keep this blog to write about each session and there's always the facebook fan page too!

If you don't know already, I'm having a c-section in less than two weeks and will be taking the month of August off. Throughout the month of August I'll be posting some "Year in Review" posts that will show my favorite photos from every session I've had in my first year of business (September makes 1 year!), so that should be pretty fun looking back at those first sessions and every one since then! I can't believe it but I have done 42 sessions so far-and have 23 sessions and 3 weddings booked before the end of the year!!! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has used me this past year- I know that the winter months will be very slow so I'm going to enjoy every single session until then!  

I will get caught up soon with all the beautiful families I've done this past month, but here are a few favorites for now!

Purple

It's been awhile since I've entered one of the Iheartfaces weekly photo challenges! I just took this photo of my daughter last week and remembered that she had a purple dress and purple tootsie pop in the picture, so I decided to enter it!  She calls that dress her "purple cheerleader dress"...not too sure why but it's so cute :)

Little Miss Jadyn

This was my 3rd photoshoot with Jadyn! She is definitely one of my favorite little subjects and it's been really fun being able to watch her grow up in front of my lens.  Toddlers change so quickly so I'm really glad that her parents know how important photographs are. That is one thought I always have when I finish editing a families photos: They are going to treasure these forever! It's so important to take pictures--and I'm not just talking about having professional pictures taken, but pictures in general are such a great way to remember the past. Every photo I see that I have taken I can remember that minute in time and that's a wonderful thing!  Anyway, enough of my rambling..here are a few faves of Jadyn!

The McLelland Family

What a sweet family this was!  The kids were SO well behaved I was shocked! Not that I deal with kids who are "bad" but I understand that kids are kids and you can't always control them--but these kids stayed close and did wonderful the whole time!
