iheartfaces photo challenge: Dramatic B&W!

I have always loved black and white photos. There's just something about them! I've been messing around with different ways to achieve the dramatic black and white look for my photos and finally came up with what I thought was the perfect post-processing process...then it got erased and I have NO idea what steps I used to accomplish the look. Back to the drawing board I guess! Here is my most recent/favorite black and white!

Spring Has Sprung!

Don't you just l.o.v.e Spring! Being outside with the kids and enjoying the sunshine, swinging in the backyard, blooms popping up everywhere. It's wonderful! Now only if it would last for more than a day at a time! 

Be watching the blog for an announcement of a few giveaways on other blogs (Some floral prints, they look gorgeous framed!). And leave me some feedback! I never ask for that, but I'd love to hear from you!

Noah & Gavin

{I'm super frustrated with facebook right now! It's not uploading my photos..then I remembered HEY! I have a blog too....}

You'd never guess from the blizzard that's happening outside right now that these pictures were taken two days ago! I met Noah & Gavin (and their mom of course!) at the park on a gorgeous *almost* spring day. Unfortunately it was realllly muddy out and the boys got a little dirty, but you can't tell that in most of the photos :)  Here are a few favorites...
